You're driving up a long, linear yet familiar road.
Up ahead, you see a large sign and can faintly make out the large letters which read "HOTEL." You stop the car, lower the window slightly and look out. You see the sign clearly now: "RETREAT HOTEL." You open the car door and dash out onto the street and up onto the steps of the establishment. You've been here before.

EXT. RETREAT HOTEL - (NIGHT)

You push open the door of The Retreat Hotel. The crushing sonics of howling vocals, battering drums and wailing guitars overwhelm you. Everyone you know is present.
It's THE HUM DRUMS 2nd Birthday.
After the whirlwind release of their third EP 'Vol. III' earlier this year, The Hum Drums will hold their annual birthday bash at their favourite haunt: The Retreat.
