Jade Paw is a junk soul band from Narrm that fuses driving funk, soaring vocals, janky guitar stabs and hypnotic delays to transport you on a soulful journey punctuated by chief singer-songwriter Matt Kelly's stark lyricism.
Matt has fronted a myriad of bands the last 15 years, having opened for acts like Kimbra, Ngaire, Hiatus Kaiyote and once even for Jimmy Barnes (lolz).
Featuring Matt Bush on drums, Panga on percussion and Jessie-Q on bass duties Jan 12 they release their debut EP (recorded at Rollingstock, Melbourne by Goodmood Melbourne) "Hell No Satan, Not Today" with support from local groovesmiths Gooey Drop and Pia Nesvara.
Limited edition T-shirts and USBs (with the record, music videos and live performance) will be available on the night.
